Good morning children!
What writing technique have I used for the heading of this blog post 'Terrific Tuesday'? Write your answer in the comments box below. To start, I want to share an inspiring thought of the day from Dr Seuss: “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?” These are the learning activities we want you to complete today in addition to english and maths: 1. The Joe Wicks’ work out which will be shown on his you tube channel. The work out starts at 9am and lasts for 30 minutes. Click on this link to take part in his work out:https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1 2. From 9.30 – 10.00 am, we want you to practice your spellings. The spelling lists were uploaded on a blog post dated 20/3/20. We suggest that you practise ten spellings each day (start on step 5a). Remember to use the ‘Look, say, cover, write, check’ method to remember the spellings. In addition, practise writing sentences including the words that you have learnt. 3. From 10.00 – 10.15 am, Dr Chipindall will doing ‘live’ teaching of computing, science or engineering. Go to the following blog page to take part in this learning:https://drchips.weebly.com/ 4. Straight after lunch, we want you to do some reading for half an hour. Read your book or online text to an experienced reader (this could be your mum, dad, carer, brother, sister or any other relative). While you are reading, ask the person who is listening to you read to ask you questions about the book/text. We uploaded reading questions in a blog post on Monday 23/3/20. If you have any questions about the learning activities then please email your teacher at: [email protected] (for Mr Ahmed-Swift) [email protected] (for Mr Tait)
