5L had a great day on No Pens Day! We created PowerPoints about our new topic of North and South America. It was very interesting as most of us thought that North America was just the USA but we discovered it consists of 23 countries! We then did some Maths problem solving. We had number cards 0-15 and we had to place seven of them in order of a certain criteria - it was very tricky! In the afternoon, we did some PSHE looking at peer pressure and how to respond to it. We got to act out different scenarios and used freeze frames. Mrs Oseman then came in to teach us French and we used the oracy skills of nesting and trios to rehearse our own 'The Hungry Caterpillar' stories. |
