School attendance is a legal requirement.
Regular school attendance is essential if children are to achieve their full potential.
Our whole school target for attendance is 97%

Attendance Update

Whole-school attendance for the period 09/09 -  09/10   was  94.3%

Which classes have met our school target of 97% this week and earned a 10 minute extra playtime reward?!

Well done to these classes!

There are 190 school days in a year. To achieve  97% attendance, a child can only be absent for a maximum of 5 days.

If your child is absent , you must notify the school office as soon as possible.   Absence will not be authorised unless parents have provided a satisfactory explanation and that it has been accepted as such by the head teacher.
School opens at 8.40am and 9am; registers are taken at 9.10am.   We would like all parents/carers to support their children to be the best they can be by arriving to  school on time, every day.
Any child arriving after this time will be given a late mark.
For more information about attendance and punctuality, please download our attendance policy.
