In 5L, we enjoyed learning both Arabic and Spanish. We learned some basic greetings in Arabic and practised conversations with our partners. We also discovered some English words derived from Arabic. We then learned Spanish greetings, the alphabet and numbers. It was interesting to learn each other's home languages! 5C have been working on their times tables - kumite style! Students that answer 30 rapid fire questions from classmates earn a times tables black belt!  In 5C we have been getting stuck into our new class reading book - "The Hobbit"!
