Reception Core Texts
This is our core key texts list for Reception. We have chosen these books as they are a mix of fact and fiction, offer a range of different themes, cultures and are language-rich to help our children develop their sentence structure and vocabulary.
We really value and promote reading and storytelling throughout the whole of the EYFS. Please find a video of Reception acting out their version of ‘The Gingerbread Man!’.
