Crumpsall Lane is a caring community, whose values are built on mutual trust and respect. The school behaviour policy is designed to support the members of our school to live and work together in a supportive way. It aims to promote an environment where everyone can feel happy, safe and secure by following a set of Golden Rules and being the best person they can be!
Our Charm Shop
When you follow the golden rules daily, you earn charms which are recorded in each class. At the end of the half term children have the opportunity to spend these in our Reward Shop or save them. It's a great way of developing the skill of financial management!
Where behaviour is not deemed acceptable, children will receive a stage. Certain types of behaviour have been put into categories, so that there is consistency across the school. The reason why a stage has been given is discussed with each child using the golden rules as a focus, so that they are clear about how they can change their behaviour in the future. Parents are notified if their child has received a stage 4 or 5. If a child is receiving stages on a daily basis, parents will be invited into school for a meeting.
