Monday's spellings

​Hello Year 5 children,
From 9.30 – 10.00 am, we want you to practice your spellings.  The spelling lists were uploaded on a blog post dated 20/3/20.  We suggest that you practise ten spellings each day (start on step 5).
This is the sequence of learning we want you to follow:

• find out the meaning of each word;
• write down the meaning of each word;
• practice the spelling using the ‘Look, say, cover, write, check’ method (download the sheet attached to this blog for a full explanation of this method);
• practice writing sentences using these words.
