Hello children!
How is everyone on this beautiful day? Does anybody know what the word “gratitude” means? If you don’t know, look the word up. Then think of ten things that you can be grateful for today. These are the learning activities we want you to complete today in addition to English and Maths: 1. The Joe Wicks work out which will be shown on his you tube channel. The work out starts at 9am and lasts for 30 minutes. Click on this link to take part in his work out:https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1 2. From 9.30 – 10.00 am, we want you to practice your spellings. The spelling lists were uploaded on a blog post dated 20/3/20. We suggest that you practise ten spellings each day (start on step 5). Remember to use the ‘Look, say, cover, write, check’ method to remember the spellings. 3. From 10.00 – 10.15 am, Dr Chipindall will doing live teaching of computing, science or engineering. Go to the following blog page to take part in this learning:https://drchips.weebly.com/ 4. Straight after lunch, we want you to read for half an hour. Read your book or online text to an experienced reader (this could be your mum, dad, carer, brother, sister or any other relative). While you are reading, ask the person who is listening to you read to ask you questions about the book/text. We uploaded reading questions in a blog post yesterday. As always, if you have any questions about the learning activities then please email your teacher at: [email protected] (for Mr Ahmed-Swift) [email protected] (for Mr Tait)
