Good morning children!
Welcome to the last week of this half term! Remember it's the last day of this half term on Friday 22nd May. Make sure you do all your learning from this blog this week so you really enjoy a deserved rest.
These are the learning activities we want you to complete today in addition to english and maths:
1. The Joe Wicks’ work out which will be shown on his you tube channel. The work out starts at 9am and lasts for 30 minutes. Click on this link to take part in his work out:https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1
2. From 9.30 – 10.00 am, we want you to practice your spellings. The spelling lists were uploaded with the blog entry dated 20/4/20. We suggest that you practise ten spellings each day (start on step 5a). Remember to use the ‘Look, say, cover, write, check’ method to remember the spellings. In addition, practise writing sentences including the words that you have learnt.
3. From 10.00 – 10.15 am, Dr Chipindall will doing ‘live’ teaching of computing, science or engineering (these lessons will now occur on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Go to the following blog page to take part in this learning:https://drchips.weebly.com/
4. Straight after lunch, we want you to do some reading for half an hour. Read your book or online text to an experienced reader (this could be your mum, dad, carer, brother, sister or any other relative). While you are reading, ask the person who is listening to you read to ask you questions about the book/text. Lists of questions that you could be asked by your reading partner were uploaded with the blog entry dated 21/4/20. If you have any questions about the learning activities then please email your teacher at:
