Hello everyone,

The star of the week for 5C is Muhamadu! Muhamadu is star of the week, because he has completed all the maths activities this week. Most of his work was accurate! Fantastic effort Muhamadu! Mr Tait Here's a link to a story starter with a lot of potential..."The Visitor."

Are you still enjoying the online work? It’s been great to hear from children via the comments section of the blog, or the class e-mail addresses! These are the learning activities we want you to complete today in addition to English and Maths: The Joe Wicks work out which will be shown on his “Youtube” channel. The work out starts at 9am and lasts for 30 minutes. Click on this link to take part: https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1 From 9.30 – 10.00 am, we want you to practice your spellings. The spelling lists were uploaded on a blog post dated 20/3/20. We suggest that you practise ten spellings each day (start on step 5). Remember to use the ‘Look, say, cover, write, check’ method to remember the spellings. Next, we want you to read for half an hour. Read your book or online text to an experienced reader if possible (this could be your mum, dad, carer, brother, sister or any other relative). While you are reading, ask the person who is listening to you read to ask you questions about the book/text. If you have any questions about the learning activities then please email us at: year5l@crumpsall.manchester.sch.uk (for Mr Ahmed-Swift) year5c@crumpsall.manchester.sch.uk (for Mr Tait) Hi guys, This afternoon I'd like you to explain through drawing or writing what a Muslim must do in their every day life so that they can enter the last four doors/gates of Jannah. You can open up the file and print off or you can do this on your own paper. You don't need to print off the power point!

If you visit this page https://www.barefootcomputing.org/homelearning and scroll down to the bottom you'll find the 3 games: Barefoot Zoo, Code Cracking and Colourful Kits.
