Friday 1st May 2020
Good morning Year 2! Today is a new month. How quickly did April go?
Today we are continuing to recap describing a setting using the story 'Bob the Man on the Moon'.
You are going to pretend you are Bob. Where does he go to work? What is it like? Use  the senses the describe where Bob works.

Today we are recapping describing a setting using our senses. You need to use adjectives to describe the setting you choose. Challenge yourself to include adverbs. If you can include other writing targets then that would be amazing!

Today we are going to recap some punctuation.
Some of you will be recapping using capital letters for the names of people and places. Examples: Manchester, Mrs Pearce.
Some of you will be recapping contracted forms using apostrophes. Examples: can't, she's.

Statement: Jack climbed up the tall, green beanstalk.
Question: Why did you sell the cow for five magic beans?
Command: Sell the cow at the market.
Exclamation: What an incredibly mean giant you are!
