Are you disappointed that we didn't get to finish our History learning about people from the past? We really enjoyed learning about Emmeline Pankhurst and the Suffragettes. In the first lesson you were given the task of sorting photos of two significant women . We have learnt that one of them was Emmeline Pankhurst, but who was the other woman? Watch the video below to learn all about another amazing woman in History!

Hello Year 2, I would like to thank all the children who sent me their work about 'How to be a good friend', it was lovely to hear from you! Thank you especially to Amaan, Eron, Hassan and Rian. Here is your fantastic work. ,This week in PSHE we are looking at 'What does Friendship mean?'. We are discussing the sorts of things we usually do with our friends, such as playing together, sharing, making each other laugh and listening to one another. Look through the power point first then try the work sheet. Remember to email me with any questions, comments and work. [email protected] Thank you, Mrs Halim ![]()

Hello Year 2, Firstly, let me say thank you to all the children who emailed me their work about Ramadan last week. I was very impressed with the quality of the work. A special thank you to Amaan, Arush, Hassan, Rian and Zunash. Here is their work! This half term our enquiry question for RE is: 'Does regular praying help a Muslim in his/her daily life?' It takes commitment for Muslims to pray several times a day. We are going to look at what commitment means and the different types of commitment you have, at home and when in school. Look at the power point first then try the work sheet. Don't forget to email me your questions and work. at: [email protected] Mrs Halim ![]()

Today we are going to be using adjectives to describe Bob. Wednesday 22nd April 2020 Today we are revisiting punctuation - full stops, question marks and exclamation marks . Will you remember how to use them? What a fun challenge! Tuesday 21st April 2020 Monday 20th April 2020
Here is this weeks first English activity. We are revisiting how to use connectives to join two sentences. Examples: Mrs Pearce rushed into the kitchen and she made herself a cup of coffee. Would you like to read a book or would you like to play outside? The family needed to go shopping but their car wouldn't start. REMEMBER to stretch yourself and choose the activity you think will challenge you. You DON'T have to complete all three! |
