So at 9am you can start the day with some exercise with Joe Wicks. Just click here to get moving. Please can you all stay up to date with your phonics. This is super important for your reading and writing. To watch today's session click here. 9:30am or 12:30pm - Set 1 (all reception and nursery) 10am or 1pm - Set 2 (most reception) Also, today Dr.Chip is an experiment to see if you can see sound. I wonder if this will work. Comment on the blog if you find the answer. So click here to join him at 10am and find out how to make your own rainbow at home. You will need a empty bottles with lids and small items to fill the bottle (rice, pasta, seeds, gravel), an empty glass bottle, water, plastic straws and scissors. Literacy - Easter activity Today’s task is to make a Spring/Easter jar. If you are able to, can you go outside and find things to put in it? Twigs or fallen petals from flowers, grass etc. This is one that I have started. I am going to have lots of conversations with my family about the things that we collected. Can you do the same? What is your favourite? Why? How many different things did you find? Where did you go? Email us your pictures, you could be Star of the Week! Maths Challenge Today we are going to look at what you do during the day and when you do it. Can you think of what you do first in the morning? What do you do after that? What comes next? Finally you do you? Do we eat our tea in the morning? Do we put on our pyjamas in the morning? Do we eat our breakfast at night? Today I’d like you to get your mum, dad or sibling to help you fold a piece of paper into 8 sections. Then I would like you draw what you do in order during the day. I have drawn my own example. Please email these for your teacher to see.
