A big well done to everyone who has been given a reading certificate this week, some of you are doing a great job and have had a certificate each week! Keep up the good work, we are very proud of you all. Remember - if you are reading a book on Bug Club you must click on the aliens and do the activity. If it does not ask you to rate the book with faces at the end then you have missed something in the book. Mrs Kendall will not know you have read the book unless you do the alien activities. Star of the week Mrs Kendall has cheated this week and given two certificates because it was too difficult to decide. So, a big well done to Ali and Halima and Aria in RC for all of their work at home. Watch the video below to see what special message your teacher has this week.
Hello children, I hope you're having fun doing the activities. This week's activity is called 'What do you do with this?' What you need to do!
Have fun!

Hello children!
Your challenge this week is to play a new 'I spy' game with your family. If you remember, playing this game will help strengthen your vocabulary, memory, attention and listening skills. There are two activities to play. 1st Activity 1. Look at the picture and tell your grown up all the things you can see! Try to name 10 objects. 2. Listen and Point Your grown up is going to say the following 'I spy' sentences. Listen very carefully to the 'special words' (clues) in the sentences. " I spy with my little eye something that is ... green, small, wet, tall, hot" "I spy with my little eye something I can... play with, climb, sit on, ride, kick, wear" " I spy with my little eye something that is an ... insect, a plant, an animal, a fruit, a toy " 2nd Activity Play 'I spy' when you're outside with your grown up. Try to use special words (clues) that describe an object, that tell you what an object can do and what group the object belongs to. E.g. “I spy something that is an animal.” “I spy something that has wheels.” etc. Remember to take turns and have fun!
