I'm looking forward to seeing you all in September.
Enjoy the summer holidays!

We have missed you all over the past few months but we are so incredibly proud of all of your achievements.    Parents, you should also be proud of everything you have done  , the EYFS team at Crumpsall Lane are lucky to work alongside  our families.
If you haven't already joined last week's meeting please join Mrs Kendall's meeting at 1pm on Monday 12th July.
Mrs Kendall -  rl@crumpsall.manchester.sch.uk

Remember to  watch  phonics everyday by clicking    here.  We have been very pleased with the work we have seen so far. *If you are confident with the sounds that you have been practicing and you can say, read and write them correctly.  Try the 'Special friends' videos for an extra challenge.
9:30am or 12:30pm  - Set 1 (all reception and nursery)
10am or 1pm - Set 2 (most reception)
*we would like those of you who were with Miss Asquith for phonics to also start to watch the word time  and red word videos which are on the Ruth Miskin youtube channel daily.    IF you think you can challenge yourself then give the  'Hold a sentence' video and activities a try.

Also log in to your   Bug Club  to read one of your books.   I have been very impressed with the number of children logging in to Bug Club each week.
Tell us about the books you have been reading.

Over the Summer why not try to learn something new, below are some ideas of things that you can  practice.

Sending you all of our best wishes and looking forward to seeing you all in September.
Mrs Kendall, Miss Syme, Miss Asquith, Miss Ghalib, Miss Medley, Mrs Hafeji and Mrs Mayoh

Hello children

This week's challenge is based around a story.
The story is called 'Billy Bear's Birthday'.
Your grown up will read the story and   you will make the noises of  all the objects
e.g.  Billy bangs his new drum
 you will need to go
d    d   d  d d.

This challenge will help develop the muscles around your mouth so that you can speak clearly.

Try to read the story everyday to make your mouth muscles strong.

I hope you enjoy the story!

A big well done to everyone who has been given  a reading certificate this week, some of you are doing a great job and have had a certificate each week!
Keep up the good work, we are very proud of you all.

Remember - if  you are reading a book on Bug Club  you must click on the aliens and do the activity.  If it does not ask you to rate the book with faces at the end then you have missed something in the book.  Mrs Kendall will not know you have read the book unless you do the alien activities.

Star of the week
A big well done to Hassan and Ayesha in RC and Zain in RL  for all of their work at home.  Watch the video below to see what special message your teacher has this week.
