Good morning everyone!
What beautiful weather we have been having! We hope that you have managed to get some fresh air safely.

Get ready to start the day! Once you are clean and dressed why not go  to the 'Dough Disco'.
9:30am - youtube - Spread the Happiness TV channel

Keep up to date with your very important phonics learning  there are a few videos
9:30am or 12:30pm  - Set 1 (all reception and nursery)  - youtube  - Ruth Miskin Training
10am or 1pm - Set 2 (most reception) - youtube - Ruth Miskin Training.

Literacy task for Thursday
For today’s task, can you spot any butterflies?
Reception, remember when you had a visit from Wriggly Roadshow?
James brought lots of mini beasts for you to look at and touch, we have put some pictures at the bottom of this blog for you to look at and talk about.
Below is a copy of butterflies which are flying around at this time of year.
If it safe to do so, can you go outside and look for some?
If not, can you look from your window to see any?

Reception, do you notice any patterns? If so, what patterns are they?
Can you draw a picture of a butterfly and send it to your teacher?

Maths  - name challenge
Can you write your name on a piece of paper? How many letters are in your name?
Write down all the names of your family? Ask them to help you?
Whose name has the most letters?
Whose name has the least amount of letters?
How many letters in your brother/sisters name?

Have you repeated any letter in your name? Circle them and count how many times you’ve repeated?
How many more letters would you need to add to your name to make it 10 letters?

Eesa misses all his teachers and he cant wait to come back to school but he is having a really good time doing all the different activities at home. He went out in the garden today and saw many butterflies and he really enjoyed drawing his own.
