Our Weekly Speech, Language and Communication Challenge!

Hello everyone,
We have 2 activities to do this week.

1st Activity:  Simon Says

This game will help develop your listening and vocabulary.                                                                                        
Your grown up will give you some instructions but you only do the action if your grown up says, ‘Simon says’ before the action word.
E.g. “Simon says jump!”
If your grown up does not say ‘Simon says’ and says, “Jump!” 
You must not jump!

Here are some instructions for you to listen and do!

2nd Activity: Sequencing

This activity will help you to put events in the correct order. You need to know how to do this as this will help you perform things in the correct order. It will also develop vocabulary and encourage you to speak in full sentences.

What to do!

1. Look at the first set of pictures.
2. Talk about what you see in each picture.
3. Think about which picture comes first, next, and last.
4. Retell the event to your grown up.
5. Continue with the next set of pictures.
