Maths for today
Can you find:
5 black items, 1 purple item, 1 yellow item, 1 pink item, 2 blue item, 1 red and 2 green items?
How many items have you found all together? How did you work it out?
Which is the biggest item?
Which is the smallest item?
Which is the heaviest item?
Which is the lightest?
Are any of the black items electronic?
Can you draw a picture of all your items and try and write the numeral next to each item? Please send a picture to your teacher.
You can find some examples of items below.

Rainbow writing
Today’s activities include making a rainbow!
What colours would you need to make a rainbow? What shape is it?

Reception can you label the colours? What sounds do the colours start with? Can you write a sentence using some of those colours?
Once you have completed your rainbow, place it in a window of your house, this way other children in your street can see it and you can make a rainbow wave to each other!

Have fun and as always stay safe.
