Good morning everyone! We hope you had a lovely weekend. What did you do over the weekend? So, whilst Mrs Kendall has been working hard this weekend we also had a few crazy moments filled with singing and dancing. Check out Phoebe at the bottom of the blog, she dressed up as Moana and singing whilst I was the audience. Also Eesa was Batman this weekend when he dressed up with his older brother! What did you sing or dress up as this weekend? Send in your videos of you dancing and singing. Some activities for the day to keep you busy... Today you can also Cook with Theo, on today's show you will be able to learn how to make stuffed jacket potatoes. Click here for the link to all of the ingredients you will need. Literacy game Today’s task is the Hot and Cold game. For this game you will need to choose something that you can hide, for example a remote control. A family member hides the remote control, the rest of the family have to find it, asking questions as they move around the room trying to find the item. Whoever has hidden the item gives the rest of the family clues, so if you ask “is the remote control near the television?” whoever is on can say “hot” if it’s true or “cold” if they are incorrect. Have fun!!! Maths activity Ring ring, ring, ring Today we are going to make our own mobile phones. I am using an old cardboard box and cutting out a rectangle shaped phone. You can trace around one if you like. I then drew circles for my buttons Have a look at my mobile phone. The numerals are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and a 0 There is also a * and a #. Lastly there is a green mobile phone icon. How many circle buttons have you drawn? Challenge: Try and learn the mobile number of someone that you live with. How many numerals are there in a mobile number?
