Literacy challenge Yesterday we asked you to think about your favourite book and see if you could think of some rhyming words. Today can you draw a character from your favourite book? Can you tell an adult what sound the character starts with? For example my favourite book is Shark in the Park, I could draw Timothy Pope. Timothy’s name starts with the sound “t,t,t,t” Can you think of any other words that start with that sound? I can think of “t, television, telephone, ticket, tea.” Have a look around your house if you can’t think of anything. If you want to listen to Shark in the Park again and try some different activities follow the link and it will take you to some more things to try.
