Nursery remote schedule

7/1/2021

We want every child to join in with our remote learning sessions.
You will find details of how you can help with this below.

Each week we will read a new text and in the weekly learning section on Google Classroom we will  add activities which relate to this book.
Check Google Classroom and complete any of the activities relating to the focus text for that week.
Send images of your work to Google Classroom and an adult will reply.

Each day we will have a phonics session and a story, these are important to develop your child's reading abilities.
@2.15 phonics
@2.30 story sharing

Your child may also be invited to a small group session three times a week, these will be in the morning for around 15minutes. These invites will be sent  by the adult leading the group.

Maths will be taught by  an adult on the Monday which will then have activities for  you to complete with your child.

Hello children

This is our last challenge for the summer.
I hope you've enjoyed the activities over the last few months.

This week's challenge   can be done as you go  out and about with your parents.
The activity will  develop your vocabulary and develop your conversational skills.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all in September.
Enjoy the summer holidays!

Hello everyone,
We have missed you all over the past few months but we are so incredibly proud of all of your achievements.    Parents, you should also be proud of everything you have done  , the EYFS team at Crumpsall Lane are lucky to work alongside  our families.

Also remember to look out for a message from your new class teacher.

*Please read updated information on phonics*

Remember to  watch  phonics everyday by clicking    here.  We have been very pleased with the work we have seen so far. *If you are confident with the sounds that you have been practicing and you can say, read and write them correctly.  Try the 'Special friends' videos for an extra challenge.
9:30am or 12:30pm  - Set 1 (all reception and nursery)
10am or 1pm - Set 2 (most reception)
*we would like those of you who were with Miss Asquith for phonics to also start to watch the word time  and red word videos which are on the Ruth Miskin youtube channel daily.    IF you think you can challenge yourself then give the  'Hold a sentence' video and activities a try.

Also log in to your   Bug Club  to read one of your books.   I have been very impressed with the number of children logging in to Bug Club each week.
Tell us about the books you have been reading.

Over the Summer why not try to learn something new, below are some ideas of things that you can  practice.

Sending you all of our best wishes and looking forward to seeing you all in September.
