Good morning  Year 6!

I   just  wanted to write you a quick message to let you know that I miss you lots and  I  am very proud of  those of you who are taking the time to complete your work. Keep it up!

I can`t even begin to explain how bored I am at home! There are only so many times I can try to clean and tidy a clean and tidy house hahaha!!! I have set up some DJ equipment in my front room! This will pass the time and be my new hobby  :)

I hope you are all staying safe indoors and are being angels for your parents!!!!!   It has been lovely to hear from you so keep the posts and emails coming.

I`m sending lots of love and hugs to you all....

Miss C xxx

Reasoning

Reasoning Challenge!

Writing

Sentence Stacking
This style of writing  is something Mrs Williams is thinking of introducing to the whole school.  Can you help me? Follow the instructions and send me your writing so I can share it with Jane. Can you also comment or email me your thoughts on this teaching technique - does it work? Is it a good idea to introduce this to Crumpsall Lane?

Climate Change

Can you design a poster which tells people the dangers of climate change and what we can do to slow down its impact on  our Earth? Take a photograph and share them with us via email or the blog.

Hi guys,
I'd like you to  write some song lyrics for the verse  section , 'Here and  Now'
We have already completed the first four lines  with  one of the year 6 classes.
I have attached these lyrics  on  a power point along with   the audio.

Remember, your lyrics should reflect the places and buildings  we have in our community  in and around Crumpsall. Be creative.
Remember to share your lyrics on this blog .

Hi,
I'd like you to think back to when we looked at the different interpretations of jihad.   Your task is to write about and explain  those different interpretations, showing what they  would look like  for a Muslim in their every day lives.
Remember to write these  separately:   Greater Jihad           lesser Jihad.
I have attached a file that you   can print off, should you wish.
