Year 6 enjoyed reading ‘Perfectly Norman’ by Tom Percival and thinking about what makes us perfectly individual.
For International Mother-Tongue Languages Day, we got into small groups, chose one of our mother-tongue languages and made an interactive lesson for our peers to learn some of our language. We made our own matching games, colour by numbers sheets, maths number sheets and even brought in and shared hot naan bread, it smelt and tasted beautiful and we really enjoyed our afternoon!
Jen came in to teach the drama and dance group a new routine for our upcoming performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. We were really inventive and came up with some stunning ideas and shapes of our own. Well done drama and dance group!
