Maths
Today Year 3 will be continuing fractions of a set of objects. Head over to the White Rose Hub website for the video tutorials and worksheets to use. Please complete Lesson 3 of Week 2.
1.00pm- Reading
Step 1- Before you read the 'Volcanic Landscapes' text below, we would like you to look at the title and the image and predict what you think the text will be about. Step 2- Whilst your reading the text, underline any words you don't understand. Once you've finished reading, clarify the meaning of these words by looking them up online, using a dictionary or asking an adult. Step 3- Now you've read it can you write a one sentence summary?

Creative- Edinburgh Zoo has live webcams on some of their animals so you can watch what they are doing RIGHT THIS SECOND! You can choose what you want to do for this task. You could create a fact file about your favourite animal, create a comic strip about them, or even create a piece of art work about them.
