Unit 2: Adding im- to root words beginning with m or p.
This week's focus is Unit 2-  Adding im- to root words beginning with m or p.

Today we would like you to create  2 lists of words.
The first, words with the prefix im- and the root word starting with m.
The second,   
words with the prefix im- and the root word starting with p.
Once you have created both lists underline the   root word in each word.

This week  you are going to be entering an ESCAPE ROOM!
Each day you will be given 2 clues  to solve 2 digits of the code you need to escape. By Friday you need to have successfully found all 10 digits . Once you have cracked the code, email in your answers and all children who have successfully escaped will be announced  on Friday evening.
Your first  2 clues for digit 1 and 2 are below. Good luck!

This week we'll be watching different clips from the BBC's Seven Worlds One Planet documentary and answering comprehension questions on each.
Today we're starting with the trailer.  Have a watch and then complete the questions.
  1.  Pause the video at 12 seconds – What do you think Sir David Attenborough is thinking here? Explain fully.
  2. What do you think the word ‘extraordinary’ means?​
  3. Pause at 1.44 – What does Sir David Attenborough promise to show you over the course of the series?
  4. What hints are given to suggest why diversity on Earth is being lost?
  5. Pause at 2.11 – Choose one word to describe this image. Explain your choice fully.
  6. Which continent are you most excited to see more of? Why?
  7. List 7 animals that feature in this trailer.
  8. Why do you think the name Seven Worlds, One Planet was chosen for this show? Explain your answer fully.
