International Mother Tongue Day!

Today the children celebrated their home language: Urdu and the Pakistani culture. The afternoon began by learning some key phrases, numbers and letters in Urdu. The children proudly dressed up in their cultural clothing and then made a Pakistani food dish known as “Chana Chaat” Also known as chickpea salad. We finished the day by learning some Pakistani dances, which the children and teachers really enjoyed !
