As this is the last week and we have looked at many different texts this year, I would like you to pick your favourite English topic and write me a letter telling me why it was your favourite and what you liked about it. Shen and the magic paintbrush Daisy the Cow Tranio and Livia's diary entry How to trap a Roman Soldier The Teacher Pleaser Monday - Plan, What was my favourite text?, why? What was the best bit about that text. What did you enjoy doing the most? How did it make you feel? Tuesday - Write a draft letter to your teacher. See template attached. Dear Mrs Kayani, I wanted to tell you that I have really enjoyed our writing based around Shen and The Magic Paintbrush this year. It was my favourite because ...... Use the questions I asked above to talk about different aspects of why you enjoyed that particular text. 
Wednesday - Using a coloured pen edit your work like we would in class. I want it to be perfect before you send it to me!
Thursday - Now that you have practiced writing a letter. I would like you to write me one about the year you have had with me in year 3. What have you enjoyed? best bits? etc
