Welcome back!

We hope you had a great week and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine!  Time to continue with our  home learning!  We will start with  a *question of the day*:

In English we will be starting a new unit of Writing. Please read the story 'The King of the Fishes'  and complete the activity   'Sparky Start',  making three wishes! (pages 1-5). Tomorrow we will continue  with more activities   based on this story (do not complete the   entire document yet!)

Reading 
This week we'll be watching different clips from BBC's Seven Worlds One Planet documentary and answering comprehension questions on each.
Today we're starting with the trailer. Have a watch and then complete the questions. 
  1. How many continents are there on planet Earth?
  2. What do you think the word ‘extraordinary’ means?
  3. Sir David Attenborough says each continent is unique.’ Which definition do you think best fits ‘unique’?
  • Similar to lots of other things.

I would rather have the ability to fly because you can go anywhere you want. if you have invisibility you might not have all your body invisble only your skin but not your clothes.

I would rather have the ability to fly so I can fly high above anyone with Covid-19 and be safe, also I would be able to go anywhere. [Even though there is no point because Covid-19 is everywhere]

Oh no- good point! That wouldn't be good to be invisible forever, you would practically be a ghost!

I would rather be invisible because if you fly the temperature will go lower and lower it would be like -58°C
