Art Club - Zentangle Art

Hello Year 4, 
As some of you will know, Miss Medley and Mrs Mayoh ran an Art Club after school, but sadly this had to stop after only 2 weeks of running due to us closing school. However, they have been in touch and thought it would be a great idea to add it to our blog so you could continue at home! This is for everyone not just those that attend. 
The Art Club focused on Zentangle Art. 
The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. We call these patterns, tangles. ... Zentangle art is non-representational and unplanned so you can focus on each stroke and not worry about the result.
We would love it if some of you gave it a go at home! Even I (Miss Bell) is going to give it a go- it seems very relaxing! Below are some examples of what you could try or why not start by drawing around your hand and filling it in with patterns - this video shows you how!
