Hello Year 1, Last week in RE we were retelling the Chanukah story about the battle between the Maccabees and King Antiochus and his army. A big thank you to Matiyar who sent me his brilliant work!  This week we will discuss 'Why are the Chanukah candles important to Jewish people?' We will be looking at what Chanukah is and why it lasts for eight days.
