RE - Chanuakah

Hello Year 1,
This is the last RE post before the Summer holidays!
Last week we discussed ' Why are Chanukah candles important to Jewish people?' This week we are looking at how a Jewish child would feel taking part in the festival of Chanukah. We will think about what Jewish children do during Chanukah, what games they play and what food they eat. You can then describe a festival you have celebrated and enjoyed.
During the Summer holidays for RE, you could research different places of worship such as mosques, churches, synagogues etc. Draw and label some places of worship and discuss their similarities and differences.
