Palm Sunday and Holy week-RE

3/7/2020

Hi guys,
Palm Sunday is both a happy and sad day. Christians are happy because they are singing praises to Jesus but also sad because they know Jesus died less than a week after his arrival in Jerusalem.
This week I'd like you to  visit the website below and watch the video too about Palm Sunday.
When you have done this,I need you to draw the scene as Jesus entered Jerusalem. In addition you need to  write about  Jesus would have felt when he  entered  Jerusalem on a donkey. Think about what the crowds were doing and saying.

Did Jesus know that he was going to be put to death  one week after this?
Do you think this was part of God's plan?
