  5. What can Tatu not resist the chance to do?
  6. Why do you think Tatu is eager to test his strength against a hippo?
  7. How much does the hippo weigh?
  8. Tatu, “isn’t the only young male in his pride.” What do you think a ‘pride’ is?
  9. What is Tatu’s cousin called?
  10. Tatu and Red have “begun to forge an alliance.” What do you think this phrase means?
  11. Why do you think, even together, Tatu and Red won’t worry an angry hippo?
  12. Why do you think Sir David Attenborough chose to describe the hippo as angry?
  13. Which word best describes the behaviour of the two lion’s in this clip? Explain your answer fully…

1.30pm- Wider   Curriculum
Paper toys!
To try this you'll need-
  • Paper kitchen towel or tissue
  • Any non-permanent markers
  • A clear glass
  • Water
What's going on:
When you dip the paper strip, it starts sucking water up. Water is dissolving dried colour pigments from markers and beautifully mixing them.
Enjoy and send us an email to show us how you got on!
Miss Humphreys and Mrs Kayani
