.Hello everyone,
We have 2 activities to do this week.
Oral Motor Exercises
Here are some new oral motor exercises for you to practice.
These exercises will make the muscles around your mouth much stronger
and help you say your words clearly.
Remember you need to practice these movements in a mirror.
Do each exercise 3 times and hold that movement for 5 seconds .

Hide the Spiders

This game will develop your understanding and use of concept vocabulary
(in, on, under, behind,  next to, beside, in front of, first and next)
and enhance your attention and listening skills.
What you need!
  1. Ask your adult to draw and cut out 2 spiders.
  2. Find some things that the spiders can hide in  (a plate, a box, a bag, a cup, a cushion etc.).
  3. A teddy or a favourite toy to help you find the spiders.

How to play
  1. Put the plate, box, bag, cushion and cup on the table or floor near to you.
  2. Ask your grown up to hide the spiders in two of the places whilst you cover teddy’s eyes. No peeking!
  3. Tell teddy to open his eyes and your grown up will ask you and teddy where to go and look.
  4. When you and teddy have played the game a couple of times, let your grown up cover teddy’s eyes and you hide the spiders.
  5. Tell your grown up and teddy where to look.

Here are some instructions you can use!
Look under the plate and behind the cup
Look in the cup and in front of the bag
Look next to the box and on the cushion
Look behind the box and under the cushion
First look in the bag, next look under the cushion.
First look on the plate, next look next to the cup.

Have fun  playing!
Mrs Martin
