Day Two of our  Seven Worlds, One Planet is all about  the Adorable Hamster! Watch the clip and answer the questions. 
  1. What habitat do you find wild hamsters in?
  2. Where specifically in Europe might you encounter a wild hamster?
  3. Sir David Attenborough says, “here in the city, they’re doing extremely well.” Can you think of a synonym and antonym for 'extremely'?Synonym -

  4. What is the male hamster’s mission?
  5. What do you think the phrase ‘the coast looks clear’ means?
  6. What risks might the hamster be worrying about when he decides that it’s ‘best not take any chances’?
  7. List the two reasons given for why candle wax a good choice for dessert?
  8. How much can a hamster hold in its cheeks?
  9. Pick one word to describe how you think the hamster feels when trapped in the bottle. Explain your choice.
  10. Order the following events from 1 – 5. One has been done for you

  • Scissors 
  • Old Sock
  • Rubber band or hair bobble
  • Washing up Liquid 
  • Food colouring (optional)

I would rather have two toes for fingers because I could write with my hands but otherwise I would have to write with my feet.

Haha- Good point! Imagine writing with your feet? I don't think my handwriting would be very neat!

I would rather have fingers for toes because i could write with my feet however if I had toes for fingers i would be harder to write and type.

I would rather have fingers for toes because first no one will see it as it is hidden in shoes. Second I need my fingers to write with.
