 Good Morning! Let's start the day with a Caption competition. You need to think of one sentence that describes what's going on in the photo. For example, 'Dog in disguise at Tesco's' or 'Dogs need protection from the sun too'. I'm sure you can think of much better ones ! 9am Morning Workout Try this morning workout to wake up your brains and body for the day! 9:30 Spelling Practise spelling 10 words 'out loud' from your Year 3 & 4 spelling list. You could try whispering them, or shouting them , or making a rhyme to help you remember. See if somebody at home can test you!

1:30pm Wider Curriculum This afternoon is a creative one! I would like you to draw a family portrait of your family. Then I would like you to draw 5 other families that are different to yours . For example your family may have a mum, dad and a brother, but another family may have two mums, and a sister and another family might just have a dad and his son. Here is a picture to help you with some ideas!

Science - Today we are going to look at how do we hear sounds. Watch the animations and complete the activities. Sound is one of the Year 4 topics that we didn't get round to starting due to having to learn from home, so this is an important lesson. Hi Year 4!! Coucou is another way of saying hi in French! 1. Let’s start with a revisit. Can you remember the order for an adjective in a phrase? Can you make up some of your own phrases using other words you know?  2. Jungle Story!!! Read the Jungle story and use the sound buttons to hear the story being read to you. 
3. Now decide on three animals to put in your jungle picture and write three sentences to describe them using words from the bottom of the sheet. Challenge is to see if you remember that the “la/une” animals will have a different ending for their adjectives!!! So “ un singe gris” but “Une giraffe grise” .
