Hello everyone,
Towards the end of the second Autumn half term, Year 4 celebrated the end of their Anglo-Saxon topic by recreating a feast. People who attended the feast included a thane (leader of the village), warriors, a minstrel, various villagers (blacksmith, carpenter, weaver and bone worker) and a couple of slaves. We had a great feast but the slaves weren't treated very well. The minstrel entertained the guests by his brilliant harp playing at the end of the feast. Check out our fantastic photos of the delicious feast! Comments are closed.
