Hello Year 2! Next week Mrs Pearce and Miss Edwards will be hosting online class Zoom meetings where we can all see each other, say goodbye before the end of the year and talk about some of our favourite memories in Year 2.

.Hello again Year 2,
Last week  we discussed 'Is it okay to make mistakes?'  We thought about how we learn new things  and what to do if we have difficulty.

​This week in PHSE we will look at how to raise self esteem using 'Positive Self -Talk. Everyone makes mistakes and we all have  different  weaknesses and strengths and can always show improvement and get better.

Hello Year 2,
Last week in RE we were looking at the routine of washing before payer called 'wudu' and completed the pictures and sentences to describe the process.

This week we we are thinking about the different activities and events that can take place  in a mosque, and how the mosque is an important part of the Muslim community.

Shall we try something a little different this week? Every day there will be a guided reading activity posted for you to complete. Monday will be a prediction task and the rest of the week will be comprehension questions using your retrieval and inference skills.
