Yesterday you were given your Topic activities for the week, including a History activity to use a cardboard box to make a house in the style of the houses during The Great Fire of London. Look at these AMAZING houses Manahil in 2L has been busy making at home. I'm blown away with how much effort she has put in and I especially love the fire details! How amazing! Thank you to everyone who is continuing to email work to us. It makes us incredibly proud to be seeing all the hard work and time you are putting into your learning at home!
Here are your Topic activities for Week 3. REMEMBER don't rush through them! Try to complete 1 a day. Mrs Pearce has her third weekly quiz on Kahoot ready for you to join in with! This weeks quiz is all about English and revisits our work on spellings and adjectives. How exciting! Here is this weeks quiz. Use your first name to access the quiz.
Who can achieve the highest score? Children with the three highest scores will be announced on the blog after Easter! Who will receive the most dojos for this week? Remember - to get the most dojos you have to do the following:
Good Morning Year 2! Welcome to your third week of learning from home. Make sure you leave us comments on the blog as we want to hear from you! Please email photos of your work to y2c@crumpsall.manchester.sch.uk (Miss Edwards) or y2l@crumpsall.manchester.sch.uk (Mrs Pearce). Thank you everyone who sent us work last week - it was very hard to choose who to go into the Hall of Fame! Lots of you took part in the Geography quiz last week - even Mrs Fairclough had a go! I hope those of you that joined in had lots of fun! The top three players were (drum roll please!): Abu 2L, Rian 2L and Iqra 2C! These are your spellings for this week! Can you read them? Can you spell them? Can you use them in a sentence? Can you find the word meaning in a dictionary (Kids Online Dictionary). Remember that Dr Chip is hosting daily online STEM activities that you can join in with from home. Tune in here every day @ 10:00am. Also Joe Wicks is hosting PE at Home every day at 9:00am. This is a great way to keep active in your own living room.
Go to Mrs Fairclough's blog and check out her Book emoji quiz!
Ask your grown ups for some help, if you need it. Will you be able to get them all right?! New Maths work will be uploaded to the blog for you to complete every day. Send your work by email to Miss Edwards at y2c@crumpsall.manchester.sch.uk and to Mrs. Pearce at y2l@crumpsall.manchester.sch.uk 10 More & 10 Less |
Monday 30th March 2020 Noi has gone missing and Grandma Bird decides she needs to make posters to help find Noi. Can you help her make her poster? Remember it needs to include all the important information about Noi. Where was Noi last seen? What does Noi look like? Adjectives will be needed to help describe Noi's appearance. |
