This week we have 2 challenges.
The first challenge will strengthen your attention and listening skills as well as developing your understanding of action words (verbs).

 Dance Freeze Song.
You need to dance when the music’s on and freeze when it stops. It’s as simple as that.
Top tips
1. Watch the video so you know what to do.
2. Make sure there are no obstacles in your way.
3. Follow the animal characters instructions.
4. Remember that ‘freeze’ means ‘stop’

Follow this link to join the fun!

The second challenge is the ‘Teddy Game’.
This game will help you learn to name things and put them into groups.
These are important skills for building vocabulary.

Teddy Game (Family Game)
You will need 5 teddies
The teddies like to collect things. Can you help them?
The first teddy likes to collect toy animals.
The second teddy likes to collect food.
The third teddy likes to collect clothes.
The fourth teddy likes to collect kitchen utensils.
The fifth teddy likes to collect flowers.

Try to think of other things that might be the same
E.g.; A banana and lemon are yellow. Socks and shoes are worn on your feet
Have fun sorting!

Hello everyone,
Your challenge this week is to make a game that will help you learn to name things and put them into groups. These are important skills for building vocabulary.
What to do!
  1. You need to get some paper and fold it 3 times    (Fold it in half, then half again and in half again).
  2. Cut along the folds to make paper squares.
  3. Write 1 red instruction on each square. Your grown up can help you.
  4. Put all the squares into a ‘no peeking’ bag (plastic bag).
  5. Give the bag a shake.
  6. Taking turns, each person takes out 1 square and reads the instruction.
  7. If you can’t do the instruction, put it back in the bag.
  8. The winner is the person with the most squares.
If you have a printer, you can print this game off!
