Good morning everyone!
We hope you had a lovely weekend.  What did you do over the weekend?

I have been counting the number of rainbows that I can see on my road. So far I have counted 5!
Can you beat my number?

So far I haven’t seen any butterflies but I have seen lots of bees!

Some activities for the day to keep you busy...
So at 9am you can start the day with some exercise with Joe Wicks.  Just click here to get moving.

Please can you all stay up to date with your phonics.  This is super important for your reading and writing.  To watch today's session click here.
9:30am or 12:30pm  - Set 1 (all reception and nursery)
10am or 1pm - Set 2 (most reception)

Tune in to our own Dr. Chip who will be showing you how to make towers today at 10am.  You will need  some sort of paper (newspaper, magazine,  paper), scissors and sellotape.

Or tune in to Dr.Chip a little later today and ask your parents to join you at 10am on Facebook for the minimusicmakers live stream with singing, instruments, requests and puppets.

Our 10 book literacy challenge
Today’s task is to think of one of your favourite stories from school. (Remember our 10 books) Can you remember what is on the front cover? Can you tell a family member what an author and an illustrator do?
Can you retell the story or part of it to someone else?

Let your teacher know which story you chose and we can see which book(s) are the most popular!!
nursery@crumpsall.manchester.sch.uk or comment on this blog.
Do your family members like that book too?

Our numeral challenge
Going on a number hunt?
Can you walk around your house and see if you can spot any numerals? What numerals do you recognise? Have you spotted any numerals more than once?
