Year 6, today will be the last day for us to post work on the blog.   Although we have had a very strange end to our school year, we  all have lots of great memories from our time together.
We are very proud of you and we wish you luck as you leave us to go to high school.
Have a wonderful summer  break- stay safe!

Today we would like you to produce a piece of writing which recounts your favourite memories from primary school. If you want to, you can email them for us to read. It would also be lovely for you to share what you have written with your family.

Nothing lasts forever- final music at Crumpsall Lane! from Mr R

.Hi guys,
As they say, nothing ever lasts forever, so as  you  prepare to move on from Crumpsall Lane, it's something that has to happen. You will   continue on with your life's journey and learn new things.    I wanted to leave you with this  song, 'Nothing lasts  forever' by Echo and the Bunnymen.   It  speaks a  universal truth, so remember if you feel sad right now, that's natural .  Just remember nothing lasts forever, so your sadness will   leave you. and you will  find happiness in the next journey of your life. It has been a pleasure to teach all of you.
I will miss every one of you,
All the best,
         Mr R

I want it now
I want it now
Not the promises of what tomorrow brings
I need to live in dreams today
I'm tired of the song that sorrow sings
And I want more than I can get
Just trying to, trying to, trying to forget
I'd walk to you through rings of fire
And never let you know the way I feel
Under skin is where I hide
The love that always gets me on my knees
And I want more than I can get
Just trying to, trying to, trying to forget
Nothing ever lasts forever
Nothing ever lasts forever
Nothing ever lasts forever
Nothing ever lasts forever
I want it now
I want it now
Don't tell me that my ship is coming in
Nothing comes to those who wait
Time's running out the door you're running in
So, I want more than I can get
Just trying to, trying to, trying to forget
Nothing ever lasts forever
Nothing ever lasts forever
Nothing ever lasts forever
Nothing ever lasts forever
All the shadows and the pain
Are coming to you
All the shadows and the pain
Are coming to you
All the shadows and the pain
Are coming to you
All the shadows and the pain
Are coming to you
All the shadows and the pain
Are coming to you
All the shadows and the pain
Are coming to you
All the shadows and the pain
Are coming to you
