Year six were recently involved in a workshop, ran by Global Policing that focused on delivering a message about the severity of knife crime in England. Knife crime is a particularly big issue in the news at the moment, following the recent rise in numbers of knife attacks across England; more so Manchester.
As part of the workshop, the pupils were asked to produce a poster to be put up in cities across England where knife crime is more common. We can proudly announce that Marwa, from 6L, won the overall competition for Manchester, and she can be seen below with her prize, a PS4.We look forward to seeing your poster on display in the future. A massive congratulations goes to Marwa from everyone at Crumpsall Lane, and we look forward to seeing your poster around Manchester in the future. |
