Good Morning!
We hope you have had a lovely two week break from school work.

Today is World Ocean Day so our timetable will be a little different than usual as we are going to spend the day   completing interactive activities related  to this celebration.
We are going to be following the  timetable  on   World Ocean Day.School and join  in with all the different activities they will be hosting   which include; live ocean films, science lessons, music performances, yoga, breath-work, storytelling, craft work and much more!
So why not dress in something
blue  and   get ready for this fun filled day!

9.00am -  World Ocean Day Kick-Off
Join us with Lizzie Daly to get the day kicked off! We will learn how every second breath comes from the ocean via an animation, some Ocean breathing and movement exercise with Richie Norton and hear from others, including Pulau School in Pitcairn, celebrating World Ocean Day around the world!
9.30am - Rockpool Ramble at the National Marine Aquarium
Join NMA live from their fantastic Aquarium facility with a spot of rockpooling and exploring the Plymouth Sound zone. Ask questions and learn about the amazing animals that live in and around their local waters.
10.00am - Learn How To Breathe Like A Dolphin
Sara Campbell will be hosting an amazing workshop teaching us how to connect with our inner dolphin and learning how freedivers, big wave surfers & underwater photographers have learned the art of breathing to help them do what they do in the ocean.
10.30am - Ocean Learning Zone
Have a look at the different learning activities from  a live Q&A with marine  experts to  joining  a free-diver  who talks about the importance of Sharks in the Ocean.
1.00pm  - Ocean Creative Zone
Here are some great creative ideas for you to try at home! You can choose to either create your own ocean story,   try some sea inspired yoga,   join famous authors as they read their ocean inspired stories or even create your own   underwater sea creature with   a famous street artist called Midnight!
And it doesn't stop there!
If you enjoyed these activities and would like  to take part in more...

4.00pm - Songs For The Ocean
Get on your feet as an amazing lineup of brilliant music artists and ocean advocates sing their songs for the ocean!
6.00pm- Films for  The Ocean
Sit back and relax with our final act for the day. A series of awe inspiring short films about extraordinary ocean stories courtesy of the Ocean Film Festival.

We would love to see the work you produce from celebrating this important day!
