Shampoo, corn flour, food colouring, bowl, water, pepper and washing up liquid

Send a letter from Jim to Lizzie/Emily telling them about his experience in the Workhouse.
Include your writing target of 2a sentences (two
adjectives before the noun followed by who or with).
e.g. the nasty, cruel master with the old, wrinkly face.

White Rose are adding fantastic home learning opportunities to their website weekly. They include video tutorials and  worksheets to use alongside.

1.30- Wider Curriculum
  • Do you have any  unwanted items lying around the house? (Boxes, paper, toilet rolls) Create your own Victorian workhouse. 
  • Complete a video or activity    provided by   BBC Super Movers! 
  • Take your pencil    for a walk and find different ways of filling in the gaps. Can  you colour in different shades ( light to dark)?
