Good Morning Year 3!! Last time we talked about the Exodus and Seder meal and you sent me some great writing in Hebrew!! Well done for trying the writing of another language. This is our last week on Judaism and we are looking at a variety of information about Jewish life. 1. Here you see lots of ways Jewish people show their love for God, maybe visiting the place of worship or reading the Holy Book . Your first task is to match the words to the images, write the words I have given you underneath each image. You can print the sheet or draw the pictures and copy the words. Top tip!! Do the ones you know first! You have 12 pictures and 11 words!! I have written the answer to Shalom, which means "peace" like the word Salaam in Arabic!!
2. Now choose three of these symbols and investigate what they are and mean to Jewish people and why they are used or done.
3. Choose one that you think is the most important way to show God your love and explain why. I look forward to hearing which you choose. Here is the email again: mrsoseman@crumpsall.manchester.sch.uk Mrs Oseman Hi All!! Coucou is another way of saying hi in French!! 1. Can you remember these questions and answers? Your turn !!! How would you answer these questions? 2. Story time!!! Read through the Hungry Giant story and press the sound buttons to hear the story. The next sound file teaches 2 ways of asking “Je veux” = I want and “Je voudrais” = I would like and you remember the last one is please!!
3.Now you can follow the instructions on the sheet to write what your giant wants on each day of the week. You have the words at the bottom of the page. An example has been written in blue and don’t forget to match the picture with the words! You can draw out the page or print it.
4. Let’s finish with a song about little fish!!
