Mrs Ali's Group

This week my group will be practicing reading words from Set 1.
This means you will be able to read the words quickly and confidently.

Today's words

Picture
  • Use all of Mrs Martin’s fabulous strategies  to practice reading these words

  • Look out for our any special friends - more than one letter   that makes one sound

  • First read the word using    Fred in your Head

  • Next  your grown up will say the word

  • Use Fred Fingers to count    the sounds

  • Now write it

  •                                             Look at the word and Tick or Fix  it

Hi   SMART Room  ,

I   have set you a challenge ,  see how   well you know   my friends   on the farm   by playing   the   game  below.
After   that I  would  like  you  build a  house   for  one of my friends  . It can   be a   shed   for  the   prize   cow   or   a coop  for  the fat  red hen or maybe   even   hive   for the   queen   bee.
You   can   use   anything  to build the   house,   lego, blocks   or maybe   even the playdough that is in your activity packs.
If  you can  not   build a house  you can draw and  label  it.
Please send pictures of  your   animal   house to   the
Smart   Room email.

I would love to share  them   with   all  my friends.

Thank   You
 Ladybird
