Good morning children!
Your challenge this week is to play 'I spy' with your family.
Playing this game will help strengthen your  vocabulary, memory, attention and listening skills.
There are two activities to play.
1st Activity
1. Look at the picture and tell your  grown up all the things you can see!
Try to name 10 objects.
Picture
2.Listen and Point
Your grown up is going to say the following 'I spy' sentences.
Listen very carefully to the 'special words' (clues) in the sentences.
" I spy with my little eye something that is  ... red, round, big, heavy, soft"
"I spy with my little eye something I can... play with, wear, sleep in, watch, read"
" I spy with my little eye  something that is a ... toy, furniture, wooden"
                 !
2nd Activity
Play 'I spy'  around your house. Try to use  special words (clues) that describe an object, tells you what an object can do and what group the object belongs to.
Remember to take turns and have fun!

Halimahs enjoyed telling me her mummy about Harry and the dinasours story book she read at scool. I loved hearing about the magic jelly beans and the dinasours. She explained to me what an author and illustrator and what a blurb was. She loved the I spy game and was very good at describing the object to me, she won!
Also Mrs Kendle Halimahs wanted to know if the scarecrow you have in your back garden comes alive at night! She thinks it does and it gets up to "mischiefs". (She saw it in the background in your video from home last week!)

Hi Mrs Kendle Halimahs keeps asking me if she can play the "Fishing game" we're objects run along the bottom the screen and you have to "catch" the object that is named at the top of the screen. I don't know we're to find this game but apparently she's played it in classroom. Please can help.

Ooh that book is one of my favourites because Louie used to love hearing it when he was around 5years old. It is called 'How to Grow a Dinosaur' and the character is Albie, it is part of a series of books including 'Plunge into Pirate Pool' 'Welcome to Alien School'. I do a great alien impression in the alien school book. Maybe you could Google them to see if you can find a copy.
