Hello everyone,
We hope you have been busy over the past week and that you have managed to enjoy some of the sunshine from your garden or on your hourly exercise.  Comment or email your class teacher  with what you have been  doing.    Tell us which activities you enjoyed and if you were able to be persistent and kept trying to improve.
Mrs Kendall - rl@crumpsall.manchester.sch.uk
Miss Syme - rc@crumpsall.manchester.sch.uk

Some activities for the day to keep you busy...
So to keep you active at 9am you can start the day with some exercise with Joe Wicks.  Just click here to get moving.   We also have the link here for  Andy from CBBC  with Andy's Wild Workout.  Let us know which one you prefer by commenting on the blog.

Please can you all stay up to date with your phonics.  This is super important for your reading and writing.  To watch today's session click   here.
9:30am or 12:30pm  - Set 1 (all reception and nursery)
10am or 1pm - Set 2 (most reception)

Don't forget to also log in to Bug Club and read at least one book each day.

Today you can also Cook with Theo, on today's show you will be able to learn how to make stuffed jacket potatoes.  Click here for the link to all of the ingredients you will need.

Literacy
Today I am going to set you a listening challenge. Click on the link and listen to the different bird sounds.
Have you heard any of these birds whilst you have been outside?
What do they sound like? Are they squeaky, sharp, shrill? Can you copy  the sounds?

Keep looking and listening whilst outside and see if you can spot any of the birds. If you manage to see any, can you send a picture to your teacher?
If you cannot go outside, listen to this story on You tube called:  Hooray for birds.

Maths
Count forwards to 20
Count backwards from 20
For a counting song click here.
Today we will be adding some items.
When we add we put different amounts together and the total gets bigger.
Watch this video for help and ideas.

You can try and write it if you like?
Have a look at my pictures below.
I bought 4 pens and my friends bought 5 pens. How many have we got altogether?
4 add 5 makes=

I went to the shop and I bought 3 books and 1 magazine.
How many have I got altogether?

I went to Tesco and bought 4 tangerines and 5 teabags.
How many items have a got altogether?

I went to Tesco and I bought 1 can of beans, 2 cans of tomato and 6 eggs.
